Which is a better car in overall performance and longevity?

A CRX, that isn’t particularly old (not sure what year)
OR
A 2000 Oldsmobile Alero?
Right off I would think the Alero, but I don’t know a whole lot about either kind of car.
I’m a pizza delivery driver and it’s important to have a reliable car to do my job. These are my options right now. Any input would be appreciated!
Hondas, or Japanese Cars overall, are renowned to be very very reliable. The CRX, of course, is no exception. Other than that, it is still a very fast car, so therefore, you could also use it as like a track car.
Hope I helped you

A CRX.

Take the Alero. Oldsmobile built them. A CRX is a foreign car, and foreign cars are practically never built with any kind of quality (With a few exceptions). Oldsmobile built cars with high quality parts and care in the design and build process. Definitely go with the Alero as long as it doesn’t have any major problems or anything. Aleros are moderately powerful, very comfortable, and reliable.

lol when i think oldsmobile, reliable isn’t the first words to come to mind…
definitely go for the crx, honda’s a very reliable brand, and you’ll have a decent amount of power. they are also very light, so they’re really fuel efficient

A CRX. However they are NOT very fast. As a matter of fact, they are extremely slow. Ooooh that tuner crowd….gotta love ‘em anyhow…

It amazes me how people are so brainwashed into thinking foreign cars are more reliable, or somehow better than American. I have 300,000 miles on my Pontiac, and the engine runs great, leaks or burns nothing AND get this Parts are cheep when I do need something. I’m a mechanic, so I’ve seen a lot. Never had so much trouble finding parts for an American car. It’s cheaper to maintain a domestic car, by far. Any GM product with the 3.8 (3800) engine in it will suit you just fine… Good luck!
