How long do Lemons stay Fresh? How long do they stay fresh when cut and left in a bottle of water?

I am testing the longevity of lemons right now. But i dont want to wait? Thanks you to who ever can answer my question.
Hello….
I usually store lemons in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. They stay fresh until then. Generally i put them in in a zip-lock bag or a air-tight container. Didn’t try more than that.
About cut lemons: i put the cut lemons in a dry, air-tight container. They stay fresh for 3 or 4 days. But, I have no idea what happens when you leave the cut lemon in a bottle of water.

lemon’s can stay fresh up to two months
to save the juice longer (or before that since you don’t know how long they were sitting at your local grocery)
squeeze the lemon juice out.. strain out the seeds and freeze the juice in ice cube trays.. easily add it to anything you need to have a kick of lemon.. glasses of water.. soda.. soup.. anything
as for the bottled water.. everything does eventually goes bad.. even plain bottled water..
once open i would give it a few days.. week tops..
lol if your drinking your 8 – 8 oz glasses a water a day.. how can you be having water that is going bad anyway..
