I kind of want to but it involves staying up until 2 AM my time because he only opens the site for such a small period.
Do you reckon it’s worth it?

Nope. You can go raw just by doing some research on-line and at the library. You don’t need to "join up" on some website. That’s just a ply to get you to buy books and supplements.
